️ "...and they shall make for them fringes on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and shall put a thread of gold on the fringe of the fringe. And it shall be for you as a fringe, and ye shall see it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them..." The meaning of the term tallit is "garment" in the Aramaic language. The purpose of the commandment, as reflected in the Torah, is to make a person remember all the commandments, and to keep him from seeking after the heart and the eyes, that is, to keep him from following the evil inclination. The tallit isolates the worshiper from his surroundings and makes it easier for him to concentrate in prayer. * "The Light for the Whole World" and the site management do their best to update the inventory on an ongoing basis according to the data we receive from the various suppliers we work with.
